Passportal Announces Expansion

Passportal announced the Canadian-based software company is expanding its team and ramping up product development.
The announcement follows recent news of Remote Monitoring and Management companies acquiring Password Management organizations. “The attention these recent acquisitions have brought to password management in the MSP industry is excellent,” said Colin Knox, CEO of Passportal, “It has shone a much needed spotlight on the importance of password security, management and control.”
Passportal is ramping up both its executive team, and product development which will include ConnectWise integration similar to the current integration with Autotask. The company will also focus its efforts on developing several new unique feature enhancements and further integrations with numerous RMM products to provide the additional benefits of the newly bundled solutions, in an unbiased platform.
For the past three years, Passportal has been providing secure and audited password management to Solution Providers and working closely with them to continually evolve the product. With nearly 500 MSP partners around the world, Passportal is dedicated to the channel and helping solution providers have better control over their own, and client passwords.
As strategic expansion to the team, Passportal has added well-known Channel Chief, Dan Wensley in an advisory role. “We are excited to welcome Dan to the Passportal team,” added Knox, “His track record and reputation speaks for itself in the industry, we couldn’t have a better partner to assist us in reaching and helping more Solution Providers better manage their password security.” Dan brings with him over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the channel, and will play an integral role in helping expand Passportal’s reach and building their partner community.

In order to reach the target market, Passportal has also partnered with Plan 27, a well-known marketing and communications firm.
