When asked what she is most passionate about professionally and personally, Karla responded, “Keep learning at all stages in life; keeping that passion alive within you will be the excitement and knowledge you bring into any work, or even personal, environment. It gives you confidence, and if you enjoy what you do, others will notice." Karla’s favourite way of staying engaged is by joining industry-specific associations, attending local educational events, as well as, using online learning resources to keep up with trends.
