Passportal was born from an MSP. In 2009, our CEO founded XCEL Professional Services after working at 3 other IT Providers over the previous decade. Starting as a one-man shop, Colin grew his MSP to a 22 person MSP operating in 2 cities with $4M in annual revenue.  As the business grew, we identified a major pain with trying to get our techs quick and controlled access to the passwords needed to manage client IT systems. 

With only enterprise or consumer type solutions available, we embarked on the journey of building a product tailored to the operations of an MSP.  Today our platform supports over 500 MSP Partners around the world, and has been further refined to introduce Password Management as a Service to our Partners clients and users through a white-labelled resale framework.

Coming from an MSP, we understand and respect the value of the IT Channel.  We have also experienced first-hand the frustrations of selling to clients in competition with a vendor “partner”.  This is why we will never sell our solution direct!  With 100% Channel focus, we only sell to and through MSPs and IT Solution Providers.  You will NEVER see us calling, marketing or selling to YOUR clients.
